Emberville Wiki (the "Site") is a fan-made informational reference. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used, in line with the GDPR and ePrivacy rules that apply to visitors in the European Economic Area.

Cookies and consent

When you first visit, we show a consent banner. You can choose to accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category:

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie choice). Always active and cannot be disabled.
• Analytics — aggregate, non-advertising usage statistics (e.g. Google Analytics 4). Off until you enable it.
• Advertising & personalization — lets our ad partners serve ads. Off until you enable it.

The Site is currently in a pre-launch phase and does not yet load third-party analytics or advertising. If we add them in the future, they will only be activated for the categories you allow. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Future analytics & advertising

Should we add analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4) it would be used only to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Should we add advertising it would be served by third-party partners that may use cookies based on your prior visits — only ever after you accept the relevant category.

Data we don't collect

We do not operate accounts, logins, or user profiles. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. We do not host or distribute any game files or mods.
